It would be so awesome to be able to close your eyes, and open them to find yourself deep in a lush, cool rain forest of Hawaii. Feel the shade of the Banyons protect you from the mid-day's sun. You venture towards the light, through a tunnel of bamboo and lau hala trees. The stream you are using as a guide has a mind-numbing effect.. the water flows through your toes as the thoughts away from your mind. You see light up ahead and feel your surroundings heat up. You peer out of the trees to find slow, curling waves lapping onto the shoreline against the damp sand. Your feet sink into the hot sand and you skip into the crystal blue water like a kid to some candy. Sharing your time with no one else, you are able to go deep inside your thoughts and relieve your busy mind and say... nothing.
Ok maybe you can't fly out to the nearest tropical beach 1st thing tomorrow morning like we all want to. You may have a job that you cannot leave easily for a quick vacation.. or rent to pay.. or you may have babies that need most of your attention. Whomever you are, wouldn't it be nice to have a "get-away" in the comfort of your own home?
I am starting this blog because I am hoping to reach out to friends and newcomers alike. I am doing facials locally, here in Marin. My services will be available to you on an out-call basis so that means you are going to receive a one of a kind treatment in the privacy of your own home.. or garden, or friend's house.. however it works for you. My products are natural and organic and I am using a lot of ingredients from the islands of Hawaii. This is exciting to me as I have spent some years in the islands and received my training on the island of Kauai. I will incorporate the theraputic and medicinal properties of plant life, sea life and other awesome resources that the islands have to offer to skincare.
You will be cleansed, exfoliated, moisturized, and protected. All preparing you to go back out into the world with a renewed face and spirit!
